Description
McLaren P1 GTR, first registered 06/2016 with only 1,160 km and one owner. Track-only evolution of the P1, built after completion of the 375th and final road car and offered exclusively to P1 owners. The mid-mounted 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain produces 735 kW (999 hp) and includes an ERS-style push-to-pass system. The large fixed rear wing carries a Formula 1-derived Drag Reduction System, the mirrors are repositioned to the A-pillars to sit closer to the driver's eye line, and the car runs at a fixed ride height on race-prepared suspension with 19-inch motorsport alloy wheels and slick tyres. Below the wing sits the exposed, centrally mounted Inconel and titanium twin-pipe exhaust developed exclusively for the GTR, and the steering wheel is taken from the McLaren MP4-23 Formula 1 car. This is one of 58 cars produced, of which 35 have since been converted to street-legal specification — making this one of the 23 remaining unmodified examples. A street-legal conversion can be arranged on request. Accident-free, no deferred maintenance, with a major service just completed by McLaren and the full body protected with XPEL paint protection film. The package includes the McLaren diagnostic computer, McLaren charger, an additional wheel set with new tyres, an additional slick tyre set, indoor and outdoor car covers, wheel nut, air lance and a set of new brake pads (front and rear).
